Agnès Oromí-Bosch and colleagues published a new report on phage resistance-related challenges associated with phage therapy. They review two main strategies for mitigating resistance in phage therapy: 1) smartly identify/design the phages that are administered; 2) use phages that drive evolutionary trade-offs (in bacteria) that are biomedically desirable.
