Interestingly, this was shown in our prior pub: Burkholderia cepacia complex Phage-Antibiotic Synergy (PAS): antibiotics stimulate lytic phage activity. Kamal F, Dennis JJ. Appl Environ Microbiol. 2015 Feb;81(3):1132-8. doi: 10.1128/AEM.02850-14. And, we comment of PAs mech of action in this Pub: Aztreonam Lysine Increases the Activity of Phages E79 and phiKZ against Pseudomonas aeruginosa PA01. Davis CM, McCutcheon JG, Dennis JJ. Microorganisms. 2021 Jan 12;9(1):152. doi: 10.3390/microorganisms9010152. But neither of these were referenced in this manuscript. I wonder why?
